　　After 20 years of biologists arguing that most of the human genome must have some kind of function, it now seems that, because of the way evolution works, the vast majority of our DNA has to be useless – a suggestion that contradicts claims from prominent researchers.

　　思考題：

　　詞匯突破：

　　切分：

　　參考譯文：二十多年來，生物學(xué)家一直認(rèn)為大部分人類基因組均有一定功能。但現(xiàn)在看起來，因為進化的工作機制，DNA中的絕大多數(shù)必須是無用的——這個意見否定了許多杰出研究者的假設(shè)。

　　(也就是說現(xiàn)在的研究結(jié)果和生物學(xué)家的觀點;傳統(tǒng)的觀點;杰出研究者的觀點是相反的。)

　　思考題：

　　(A) The famous scholars are of the idea that the human genome must be functional.

　　這個選項中有一個關(guān)鍵短語：

　　Be of the idea that = 同意…觀點…

　　prominent researchers= The famous scholars

　　根據(jù)原文可以知道: biologists 的觀點= prominent researchers 的觀點

　　而biologists 的觀點是：

　　most of the human genome must have some kind of function

　　=the human genome must be functional.

　　所以A選項是完美的同意替換!

　　這個句子其實講了兩個觀點一個是傳統(tǒng)的過去的觀點，生物學(xué)家和杰出的研究者都認(rèn)同的觀點：人類的基因組必須是有一定功能的。還有一個觀點是現(xiàn)在的新觀點：由于進化的方式，大多數(shù)的人類基因是沒有用的。

　　(B) The 20 years study has proved that most DNA of ours is useless for our health.

　　20年的研究證明的不是DNA是沒有用的，而是說一定有用的。偷換，所以排除!

　　著名學(xué)者的觀點與進化過程中DNA的功能是相抵觸的。

　　“在進化過程中DNA的功能”在文中并沒有談到，只談到了由于進化，DNA變得沒有用了。

　　所以是偷換!排除!

　　(D) The new research have proved that the function of useless DNA in human evolution.

　　新的研究證明了在人類進化過程中無用DNA的作用。

　　文中沒有談到“無用DNA的作用”所以排除!
