The data provided by the chart above illustrates how students from a university read from the year of 2017 to 2019. The survey shows that printed books, ebooks and audio books all have users in the school, but their popularity is under change. Ebooks see a decreasing popularity among students during the three years, while printed books and audio books are attracting a mounting number of students and printed books even become the most popular.
There are several reasons behind this phenomenon. Firstly, the widespread using of mobile devices such as flat computers, especially smart phones once made reading ebooks a fashion, because they were easy to carry. And ebook stores offered thousands of choices with relatively low costs. But as time went by, the disadvantages surfaced: long-time using of digital devices were harmful to eyesight, and ebooks can't provide readers the same reading experience as paper books do. As many campaigns aiming to promote reading are launched in recent years, paper books regain more people’s favor. Audio books just emerge and are still gathering momentum. Rather than “reading”, people can listen to audio books and free both hands. With many other advantages, we have reasons to believe that audio books will enjoy higher popularity in the future.

The statistics offered by the chart above illustrate the changes in people’s dining options. From 1970 to 2000, the option of fast food underwent an obvious increase, rising from 20 times to 90 times per year, while the growth in the option of sit-down restaurant gradually changed slow.
What might be the possible reasons hidden the phenomenon reflected by the chart? The most important factor to be considered is that the pace of people’s lives are speeding up with the development of economy. Fast food is popular because it allows people to finish eating quickly and go back to work and study. Eating in restaurants saves time than cooking at home, but it's still not as convenient as fast food. So the number of people choosing to eat in restaurants has increased, but at a slower rate.
From what has been analyzed above, we can easily come to the conclusion that there is a tendency that fast food option will continue to increase in the years to come.
